Manymade is proud to announce its partnership with Filmkontakt Nord (FkN). FkN was established 1991 by the independent Nordic short & documentary film community. Filmkontakt Nord is dedicated to the promotion of Nordic short films and documentaries internationally, strengthening the Nordic-international professional network in order to market and support the Nordic short and documentary sector.
Filmkontakt Nord is announcing a "Call for Projects" for a Manymade-FkN crowdfunding campaign with special mentoring from the Manymade team. This will give 3 selected projects a unique opportunity to kick off their crowdfunding campaign, which will be featured on the FkN and Manymade sites. Read more

Manymade Meals @ Nikolaj Contemporary Art Center
15-01-2013
by Majken Overgaard
Thursday January 17 from 17-20 we will host another round of Manymade Meals in Nikolaj.
So come join us if you need to get your project funded!
This is the concept...You join us for dinner and pay 130 DKK for the meal
and a ballot. Around 30 DKK goes to the dinner and the rest of the money is
collected in a pool.
During the dinner, you can pitch your project to the
crowd in whatever way you want: talk, sing, draw or perform. In the end the
crowd votes for their preferred project and the winner receives the collected
pool of money.
You can also just join for the food and the fun - you
don’t have to pitch.
Who?
Manymade Meals is for artists, musicians, architects, movie makers,
technological entrepreneurs and anyone who is interested in experiencing and
supporting art and culture.
Why?
It’s a chance to get together and support art projects
you believe in while enjoying dinner in a casual setting with cool people.
If you have a project, it’s a great way to communicate your work to a new
audience and possibly to receive some funding to kick-start your idea.

Yesterday the wonderful project "Mother Sparrow - a compilation" ended it's crowdfunding campaign on Manymade. Unfortunately they only reached 20% of their final goal. However, in the very last hour the people behind the campaign got contacted by the MICA-foundation, who offered to provide the last funding in order to realise the project. We congratulate the people behind the campaign and look forward to hear the album!
Merry christmas!

Manymade Workshop at KPH
23-09-2012
by Majken Overgaard
Thursday September 27 Manymade will host a workshop about crowdfunding at KPH
Crowdfunding is when a group of people finance a project or
activity together.
The
workshop will provide insight into how crowdfunding works - its many forms and
models - and the different possibilities that crowdfunding offers when developing projects.
Crowdfunding can be used actively as a creative tool for artists, entrepreneurs and institutions/organisations. Using crowdfunding you invite the user to take part in a
development process and you establish direct contact with
the end-user of your product or service. This close relation to the users
creates numerous possibilities for artists, entrepreneurs and institutions/organisations to develop and distribute their activities.
The
workshop will introduce strategies and present tools for artists, entrepreneurs and institutions
to develop their projects, products and/or services through.
The
workshop will take place September 27 at KPH Projects from 17-19.
The program
is:
17-18:
Introduction to crowdfunding/crowdsourcing and Manymade
18-19: How to make a crowdfunding campaign - talk about individual projects
If
you have ideas for projects you are welcome to contact us in advance at manymade@manymade.org
Please sign up here:

We look forward!
